Avoid Getting Sick with an Optimum Immune System

We are bombarded everyday with information on what we should be doing to keep healthy. The most important part of the keeping healthy formula is a strong immune system, yet the most common to neglect.

Our society has become so programmed for a 'quick fix' to every problem, that another alternative that takes a bit of time to see results is avoided. Your immune system is something you need to build up with daily baby steps, which do take patience and perseverance. Just like your body does not deteriorate overnight, it does not rebuild overnight either.

Building a strong immune system begins with an adequate night's rest, drinking enough water to hydrate the body, exercising daily, eating a healthy diet and supplementing with vitamins proven to build up the body's immunity. Avoid medications as often as possible as they weaken your immune system, and without a strong immune system you are easy prey for any bacterial or viral infection.

The following vitamins are a must for strong immunity: Vitamin A (Beta Carotene), Vitamin C and Vitamin E. By adding a clinically researched multi vitamin, Soy Protein powder and B Vitamins to your breakfast routine, you are armed for the day ahead with a strong defense system ready to attack any unwanted invaders. When you feel like your defenses are down such as a slight tickle in the back of your throat or extreme sudden fatigue, that is your body's way of warning you to slow down and rest.

This is the time to add Echinacea, a powerful immune booster. For an immunity drink, add to a cup of boiling water: 1/2 fresh squeezed lemon, 1 tbsp. honey and 1 Echinacea tea tablet. Sip while in a hot bath filled with Espom Salts, Baking Powder and Ginger spice (these 3 will draw impurities out of the body). Be prepared to sweat lots and follow with a cool shower.

If you follow the above formula, you should enjoy optimum health, however if you choose the 'quick fix' route, including a yearly flu shot, be prepared to suffer the long term side effects later in life. Do some reserach on the ingredients in the flu shot - you may find Thimerosal, a derivative of mercury, which has been linked to an increased risk of Alzheimer's disease.

Your immune system gets stronger with each bacterium it encounters and destroys. Vaccinations prevent this natural process from happening. Do your own research at: www.mercola.com for a more informed decision.
